sp: Salad plates

salad plates spring 08

Inspired by my time in Japan, where food is arranged with a lot of space left on the plate. In Japan these would be used for a little mound of something wonderful, in the center of the bowl.

Very Asian in feeling, 6 bowl/plates about 8" across. My favorites from this firing.
