We use a dish like this one almost every night. It serves asparagus, broccoli, small potatoes, and occasionally a baked macaroni and cheese. I'd be lost without it! This one is sold, but there are other slightly less shiny ones still available.

After spending time in Japan I found I like a small bowl of rice that fits in my hand. This one is quiet and lovely. It's made of a particularly nice clay body.
